A Thayne home is considered a total loss due to fire as it engulfed residence early Thursday morning. Emergency crews and firefighters from Thayne and Afton responded to the scene and battled the blaze in temperatures hovering near ten-degrees at just after 2 a.m. on January 21.

No injuries were reported as the family made it out of the home.
