Our beloved Jefferson Lysager, died suddenly in a car accident on Sunday, May 1, near Star Valley Ranch. He was the second son of Howard and Emily Lysager and is survived by his parents; his estranged wife, Jamie; his daughter, Reese; his brothers, Lincoln and Tyler; his sisters, Holly Lysager and Heidi Lund; and Kelly McDougall, his beloved forever soul-mate and life-long love.
His dear son, Taylor, passed away in 2010 and is buried in the Thayne Cemetery, where Jefferson will join him.
Jefferson was born in Denver, Colorado, on September 7, 1973. His family moved to Provo, Utah, where he attended elementary and secondary schools. He graduated from high school and was active in scouting, receiving his eagle award. He was a good construction worker and also worked in harvesting pineapples in Hawaii. Jefferson enjoyed sports especially golf, in which he received a number of trophies. He also enjoyed music and recorded several songs on the internet. He will be greatly missed and remembered for his cheerful, kind, loving nature, and sense of humor.
A memorial service will be held at the Freedom building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, May 7, at 12 p.m., preceded by a visiting time at 11 a.m. All are welcome.
