With snow falling on top of what has been a record setting winter snowpack, the home sports schedule for the Star Valley High School Spring sports has been non-existent to this point.

That trend will continue today as the boys and girls soccer matches scheduled in Afton between Star Valley and Jackson have been postponed due to snow and unfavorable conditions. SVHS Activities Director, Rob Erickson, confirmed the postponement. No make up date has been announced.

So far this season the track meet scheduled for the last weekend of March was scrapped. Soccer matches in Afton versus Evanston on March 22 were postponed to April 26.

Soccer matches between Star Valley, Kelly Walsh and Natrona County were postponed on April 7 & 8 and rescheduled for a neutral site in Riverton on April 18 as a double-header.

As of now, the next home event is scheduled to be the Dave Draney Invite on Wednesday, April 19. SVHS Soccer is scheduled to host Rock Springs on Saturday April 22.
