Tyla Ferrin
Tyla Dawn Ferrin, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, age 35 passed away at EIRMC in Idaho Falls ID, on February 21, 2024, surrounded by loved ones following a very short and unexpected illness. Tyla was born on January 4, 1989, in Soda Springs ID to Teresa Ferrin and Kley Moore. Tyla grew up in Soda Springs and Montpelier ID till she was 6. At that time her mom Teresa decided to move her and Tyla to Afton WY to be closer to family. Tyla attended kindergarten in Montpelier Id, she then attended the rest of her school years in Afton WY. Tyla worked at many different jobs in her short life, her last being at AJ’s Liquor Store where many knew her as the kind, helpful always smiling, hardworking employee.
Tyla was a very easy-going child, she was always happy with a smile on her face. She loved to go fishing with her family & friends. Tyla and her mother were always going on road trips when she was a child, many precious memories were made on these trips.
Tyla has many cousins, her favorite being Cody Pack or as she would say Beaner, who became more like a brother to her then a cousin. She made friends very easily, Tyla met her best friend Cydney Risser in high school. They have stayed very close through the years; they enjoyed doing many things together with their children.
Tyla’s greatest accomplishment in life was the day she became a mother on February 6, 2013, to a baby boy she named Treyton Blair Jade Nield in Jackson Hole WY. Tyla loved Treyton fiercely and was very proud to be his mother, he was her whole life, as she was a single mother. She loved to provide for him and give him everything she possibly could. The last major gift she gave him was a go-cart for Christmas 2023. She was so proud and excited to be able to give him this gift.
In the last few years Tyla suffered from many health problems. Her family is very thankful and lucky to have shared the last two years with her.
Tyla gave one last gift to the world, which surprised her mother, when she was told by medical staff that Tyla was an organ donor. She became a true hero and angel on the night she passed by giving the gift of life to two kidney recipients.
Tyla is survived by her son Treyton, her mother Teresa Ferrin, father Kley Moore, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dallin Ferrin and Kolten Moore, grandparents Robert Stumpp Sr, Dell May Penn, Eldin Moore, uncles Kim Stumpp, Steven Humphreys, and cousins Jr Camacho, Elizebeth Smith, James Stumpp, and her great grandparents.
In lieu of flowers there is an auction which includes Venmo set up on Facebook under “Auction for Tyla” to help cover funeral expenses.

Robert Beus
Jay Robert Beus, age 77, passed away February 21, 2024 at his home in Fairview, Wyoming. He was born on January 26, 1947 in Ogden, Utah to Jay Richard and Marjorie Beus. Robert was raised on a dairy farm in Hooper, Utah along with his siblings; Annette, Carroll, MarJean and Brad. He had a wonderful childhood and was privileged to live close to numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents and good neighbors. Robert learned to work hard, besides helping milk the cows, he helped with crops such as sugar beets, tomatoes, alfalfa, and corn silage. He spent many hours riding his horse, Trix, around Hooper visiting friends and trying to keep out of mischief. Robert also enjoyed hunting ducks and pheasants. Even as a boy, he was interested in “how things worked” and became very good at fixing what was broken. He was a great mechanic and handy man.
Robert attended elementary school in Hooper, graduated in 1965 from Weber High School in Ogden, where he lettered in football. He was fun to be around and had many friends. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the West Spanish American Mission from 1965-1968. He always treasured the people he met and the experiences he had during his mission service.
When he returned from his Mission, he started attending Weber State College and working at ZCMI. During this time he met Lynette Kennington, who was attending Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. It was love at first sight and the beginning of a long distance courtship, wherein they would only see each other every two weeks. They were married on September 12, 1969 in the Logan Temple.
A few years later, Robert graduated with a BS degree in Business and Accounting and moved to Fairview, Wyoming with Lynette. Where he worked for Caribou Four Corners (Maverik) in the office and as an Area Rep. He also worked for 7 Eleven as an Area Rep, and later in Financial Planning and Insurance. Robert fulfilled one of his dreams, by getting his pilot’s license and becoming the owner of a small plane. He was able to fly it to various locations as he was working as an Area Rep. He also took many people up for rides. He loved flying. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and enjoyed these flights. Robert was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. His favorite were with the youth and in the Primary.
Robert was very happy when he became a dad to four sons and one daughter – Jim, Mike, Blake, Kade and Vandi. He was a fun, attentive, kind and proud father. Robert taught the kids to work hard and to be kind to others. He enjoyed taking his kids flying, camping in the Uinta mountains and going to visit the Utah Beus family. He encouraged and supported their activities and helped them with numerous projects. Becoming a grandpa was a highlight for Robert. He dearly loved his family!
Robert is survived by his wife Lynette, his children; Mike and Bethany Beus, Blake and Missy Beus, Vandi and Chad Walker, Kade Beus, and daughter-in-law Dana Beus; his 15 grandchildren and one great granddaughter, and his siblings; Annette, Carroll, MarJean, and Brad.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jim Beus, and both of his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at noon at the Fairview Ward Church (South of the Temple). Viewings will be held Friday Evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Schwab Mortuary and Saturday morning from 10:00-11:45 at the Fairview Church. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
