• Over 40 pieces by local artists will be offered at auction.

Friends of the arts community in Star Valley are invited to the Star Valley Arts Council Art Auction Fundraiser this Saturday, July 20 from 7-9 p.m. in the Alpine Airpark at 75 Alpine Village Circle. All funds raised at the auction benefit the Star Valley Arts Council’s mission to provide art opportunities and foster art education in the Valley.

“Our goals for this event include raising funds for the Star Valley Arts Council’s 2024-2025 season,” said Lxi Weber, Executive Director of the SVAC. “This is a social event based around the arts to grow awareness of all that Star Valley has to offer in a venue for local performing and visual artists to showcase their talents.”

Over 40 pieces of local original art will be displayed and offered by silent and live auction. Guests will enjoy live music, drinks, raffles, aerial arts, hors d’oeuvres, and handmade chocolates.

“All pieces selected for the Art Auction Fundraiser were created solely by local artisans, and the quality is absolutely incredible,” Weber exclaimed. “While we appreciate the support of the guests in our fundraising efforts, we also love being able to support the artists at this event as well.”

Proceeds from the auction of each piece will be divided evenly between the artist and the arts council.
