River of Life hosts conference for women this weekend

• Refreshments and childcare are provided.

River of Life Star Valley is hosting a two-day conference for women on Friday and Saturday, August 23-24. Light refreshments, beverages and childcare will be provided as part of the conference. All women are invited to attend in person or virtually through a livestream link. Women attending on site are invited to gather at 531 S. Washington Street in Afton for the conference.

“Women will be gathering together to worship, listen to multiple speakers encourage us to remember who Jesus is and why we love Him, and then remind us we are called to go out into the world and tell people about Jesus and the hope we have because of Him,” said Stacy Anschuetz, with ROLSV. “We will be video streaming all aspects of this conference. If you can only attend one day, please join us!”

Guests can expect to connect with other women in the valley, to feel the fellowship of friends and neighbors, and to feel the love of God. “All women are invited! We’d love to have you join us in fellowship and leaning in closer to Jesus!”

Ladies are encouraged to register in advance to facilitate food preparation and childcare. Scan the provided QR code to register. There are multiple options available for payment, such as cash or check on the day of the event, download the app on the app store (ROLMT) and choose Star Valley-Women’s Conference. Tickets are $20 per person.

“Women these days seem to be bombarded with busyness, constantly being pulled from one direction to another,” Anschuetz concluded. “This conference is being offered as a chance to catch your breath and rest, find fellowship with other women, hear how wonderful, special, and treasured you are to God, and be reminded that God has an incredible purpose for your life. We look forward to seeing all of you and we are so excited to see what God has in store for all of us!”
