The second WyoPreps Athlete of the Year Award, presented by Premier Bone and Joint Centers of Wyoming, went to Star Valley’s Jordyn Horsley for girls’ golf. Horsley was the Class 4A state champion in 2024. She fired the lowest two-day total of any state champion, 148.

The senior won two tournaments and finished in the top three in her other three invites. Her lowest round of the season was a 72, which she carded in the first round at the 4A state championships. She followed that with a 76 in the final round at state. Jordyn also had a 73 at the Pinedale Invitational, a tournament she won. In the 2024 season, Horsley’s scoring average was 79.7.

WyoPreps’ David Settle presented the award to Horsley. She reacted to winning the award, looked back on winning the 4A state title, her senior season, golf at the next level, and more.
