The Afton Police Department is investigating a single vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday, August 9. Chief Jason Romberg told SVI News that the driver, identified as Afton resident Craig Sessions, was traveling southbound when for an unknown reason he crossed the road into oncoming traffic, hit the curb and rolled his vehicle into the corner of All Creatures Great & Small. 

Chief Romberg said Sessions was taken to the hospital and released the following day. A possible medical event is being investigated as a contributing factor to the crash. Sessions was cooperative with police and officers did not witness any signs of impairment.
