Celebrate Earth Day and the changing of seasons at Spring Earth Fest – a fun day of nature-inspired films and family-friendly activities!
Emmy-winning filmmaker Ann Johnson Prum will show one of her award-garnering videos that comprises jaw-dropping footage of hummingbirds. How did they get such stunning images of these amazing, difficult-to-film creatures? You’ll have a chance to ask Ann in person.
This event will also highlight local and national citizen science projects, which are changing what we know about our natural world and the transition to Spring.
Family activities will include a nature-themed scavenger hunt, live raptors, giveaways, virtual reality goggles, a panel discussion, films and more!
