Fire destroyed a home in Auburn, late Saturday night.
The Afton Fire Department responded to the home of Eileen Burton, 220 2nd West St., at 11 p.m. Saturday, May 30, with five fire trucks and 20 firefighters.
Afton Fire Chief Dennis McDonald reported the fire originated on the back deck of the home near a hot tub.
Three occupants were evacuated safey, however the home is considered a total loss, according to the Fire Chief.
Firefighters put the fire out and remained at the home until 4 a.m. Sunday, May 31 to monitor the scene.
Star Valley EMS responded to the site and provided support to the fire department.
