First Meet of 2023 on Tap for Wyoming Track & Field

LARAMIE, Wyo. — The Cowboys and Cowgirls will kick off 2023 by heading to the Potts Invitational hosted by the University of Colorado in Boulder this weekend. 

The Pokes will get things started on Friday with a slate of field events beginning with the Shot Put, High Jump and Pole Vault at noon to be followed by the Long Jump, Triple Jump and Weight Throw. 

The runners will hit the track on Saturday at 11 am with the Men’s 60M Hurdles and ending with the Women’s 4×400 relay.

This will be the second meet of the 2022-23 indoor season for the Cowboys and Cowgirls after hosting the Power Meet in Laramie back in December. 

The meet will be held at the Indoor Practice Facility on the University of Colorado’s campus. 

Spectators will be charged for admission to the meet as follows; $5 Friday and $8 Saturday. Spectators are restricted to all Clear Bag Policy rules and regulations.
