Kick It or Keep It alternates to The Spur this week with a song by both Ned LeDoux and his late father Chris LeDoux. The song, written by country singer/songwriter Brenn Hill roughly 20 years ago, was originally recorded by Chris LeDoux before his passing, however the song was never released. Now Chris’s son, Ned, has worked with Hill to reproduce the song with his own vocals mixed in with Chris’s original track.

The song, called “One Hand in the Riggin,” was released by Ned LeDoux on December 4. If kept, the song will be added to The Spur‘s playlist.
