Provided by
LCSD #2 Education Foundation

The Lincoln County School District No. 2 Education Foundation is in the process of collecting pledges for scholarships from businesses and individuals for Star Valley High School, Swift Creek High School and Cokeville High School seniors for the 2023-2024 school year. This process has been going on for the last three months, and the deadline to make pledges is fast approaching. Any business, organization, family or individual who would like to donate, please contact the Education Foundation at lcsd2ef@lcsd2.org or call 307-886-1500 by Monday, March 4, 2024.

The LCSD No. 2 Education Foundation was established in 2000 to promote excellence in all areas of education. The Community Scholarship Drive has been a key contributor in this effort. Nearly 65 businesses throughout Star Valley and its surrounding areas participated last season in the 2022-2023 drive, donating $115,780 to 85 different students. Employees throughout the School District contributed to these numbers through monthly donations to the Employee Contribution and Julie Aagard Scholarship funds.

The scholarship program has continued to grow each year thanks to all the fantastic support given by generous people and businesses. What a tremendous impact these scholarships make in the lives of our students! Even the most modest scholarship will make a difference to the financial situation of our students.

Students applying for scholarships have until April 1, 2024 to submit their applications through the Foundation website at lcsd2foundation.org/scholarships.
