Lincoln County with just two active COVID-19 cases

As of 3 p.m. Monday, April 19, the number of laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases seen since the disease was first diagnosed in the state in mid-March stood at 48,535, an increase of 306 cases over the 48,229 cases reported on April 5.

The greatest increase in confirmed coronavirus cases within the past week was in Laramie County, which reported an increase of 76 cases. Albany County had 43 new cases; Teton County had 36 new cases; Campbell County had 22; Sweetwater County had 19 new confirmed cases; Natrona County had 16; Carbon, Goshen, Sheridan and Sublette counties all reported 12 new cases; Fremont County had 11; Park County had 10; Platte and Uinta counties had five each; Big Horn County had four; Crook and Lincoln counties had three each; Johnson County had two; and Converse, Hot Springs and Weston counties had just one new case each.

Niobrara and Washakie counties showed no change in their number of confirmed coronavirus cases.
