No serious injuries were reported in a two vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 89 just south of Afton on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place at roughly 2:00 p.m. at the junction of Highway 89 and Highway 236 near Kodiak Mountain Resort. The Wyoming Highway Patrol said a vehicle turning onto Highway 89 from 236 did not yield to an oncoming vehicle, leading to the collision.
The northbound lanes of traffic were blocked for roughly 45 minutes as the crash was investigated and cleared.
