Temperatures across much of Wyoming will be between 90 and 100 degrees for several days and the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Fire Warning for Cody and the surrounding area.

To be considered a Red Flag area, conditions must have the following conditions:

• Temperatures in the mid-80’s to mid-90’s

• Minimum relative humidity values 8 to 18 percent

• West to northwest winds 15-25 miles per hour with gusts to 40 miles per hour

The Red Flag zone 276 will extend to 9 p.m. Thursday evening.
