Over $200,000 will be donated to Alpine public services

◆ Alpine will host the event from 12 noon to 3 p.m., Saturday.

Over $200,000 has been raised by the Alpine Airpark and Refuge Air Ranch to assist with EMS, Fire and other services in the community.

The public is invited to attend an event Saturday, Oct. 31, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. where a check will be presented to the Town of Alpine. The check presentation is schedule for 1:15 p.m. Tours of the Alpine Airpark and Refuge Air Ranch will follow.

(Directions: 149 South Refuge Parkway — Head north toward Idaho from U.S. 89/26, Junction and KJ’s convenience store, make the first left on Lincoln County Road 100/Old Alpine Road, drive west on Old Alpine Road 1/2 mile. Parking attendants will guide you from there.)

In addition to the funding for EMS and Fire services, funding will be directed to a proposed SV Health Alpine Clinic, the Alpine Library, mosquito abatement program, ice rink and creation of a reserve account to assist with community needs in the future.
