Wrestling

The Kemmerer Rangers wrestling team will head into the conference meet this weekend on a
high note as they finished in third place, out of 16 teams, at the Carbon County Invitational this
past Friday and Saturday. They finished behind Moorcroft and Pinedale.

The Rangers had three individual champions. Dawson Schramm, Donny Proffit and Hayden Walker. Colter
Julian and Josh Thatcher each took second place. Rangers Carson Carlson and Jeydon Boyd
each finished third. Connor Vickrey claimed fifth place, and Thomas Archibald took sixth
place. Kemmerer hosts the class 2A west conference meet this Friday and Saturday.

Basketball

The Kemmerer Rangers boys basketball team will finish no worse than third place in the class 2A Southwest quadrant this season. The Rangers closed out their home schedule on Saturday with a 54 to 36 win over Shoshoni. Kemmerer has won just two games this year, but both were
over quadrant foe Shoshoni. Junior Colter Brunski led the Rangers to the victory with a 19
point effort. After falling to Wind River by 47 points last month, the Rangers stayed with the
Cougars all the way in their game last Friday until the last two minutes. The Rangers fell by
seven.

The Lady Rangers will likely take fourth and last place in the 2A southwest quadrant
for the season after pair of losses over the weekend. Wind River rolled out to a 22 to 5 lead
after the first quarter last Friday on the way to a 37 poont win. The Lady Rangers led by as
many as seven points halfway through the fourth quarter against Shoshoni on Saturday
afternoon. Four Lady Blue three point baskets in less than a minute gave them the lead, as
they went on to beat the Lady Rangers by ten. Madelyn Gregory led Kemmerer is scoring in
both games. The Rangers and Lady Rangers close out the regular season this Friday with
games at Wyoming Indian.

The Rangers swimming and diving team will head into the state

Junior Ben Wergin qualified in all eight individual events. Aiden Runnion qualified in seven
events. Brayden Deardon had qualifying times in four events. Grady Killian qualified in two.
Easton Rydstrom and Noah Hankin each qualified in a single event. Rayden Scigliano qualified
