The following is a Facebook post from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office –
“Caribou County Forest Service is doing a prescribed burn in the area of Crow Creek, Elk Valley, South of Smoot above the Fairview Cemetery. This burn is large and will be highly visible. They suspect it will be going for about a week. Please do not report to 911. Forest Service has their fire crews on scene watching the fire.”
