Sublette County Responds to a Vehicle Rollover Crash

Sublette County Dispatch received a call about a car that slid off the highway and rolled into the river Friday afternoon.

A press release from the Sublette County Sheriffs Office reports three passengers in the vehicle, two females and a male, which had rolled about 100 feet down from where it left the highway and rolled into the river. The two females were able to climb up the hill and signal for help to get the male passenger out of the car. The report says he was unable to leave the car and, “complaining of severe neck pain.”

First responders were able to use a winch to remove the man from the car and then place him in an EMS. He was then taken to St. Johns Medical Center while the two females were taken to Jackson by a personal vehicle.

The crash was transferred to Wyoming Highway Patrol for investigation. The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office wants to take this opportunity to remind the public to use caution and take extra time when traveling on Wyoming’s highways during the winter months.
