Utah Jazz sign Ed Davis, Jeff Green, and Emmanuel Mudiay

The Utah Jazz announced Saturday it officially signed center Ed Davis, forward Jeff Green, and guard Emmanuel Mudiay.

The team agreed to contracts with the players in the first week of free agency, but to maintain cap space flexibility delayed the official signings.

Davis is a nine-year veteran who played last season with the Brooklyn Nets. He averaged 5.8 points per game and pulled down 8.6 rebounds per contest in 17.9 minutes. He also was second in ESPN’s defensive plus-minus last season. Second to only to the Defensive Player of the Year, Rudy Gobert.

Jeff Green is entering into his 12th season in the NBA. He played with the Washington Wizards last season and averaged 12.3 points per game and four rebounds per game. He shot 47% from the field and nearly 35% from the three-point line.

Emmanuel Mudiay is entering into his fifth year having played with the Denver Nuggets and the New York Knicks. He played in the Big Apple last season and averaged 14.3 points per game and he dished out nearly four assists per contest.

The team did not release the terms of the contracts. It was reported from ESPN in the first week of free agency that Davis signed a two year, $10 million deal. Green and Mudiay both signed for minimum deals.
