UW linebacker enters transfer portal

The transfer of Hicks leaves the UW linebackers without one of their most experienced players.

Hicks came to UW from Lincoln High School in San Diego, California.

Hicks appeared in 12 games in 2019 and five games in 2020.

Other linebackers listed on the roster include Brady Bohlinger (Fr), , Tommy McEvoy (Fr), Chad Muma (Jr), Sam Scott (Fr), Connor Shay (Fr), Shae Suiaunoa (R-Fr), Brent VanderVeen (Fr) and Tommy Wroblewski (Fr).

Head Coach Craig Bohl stated he would have no comment on the transfer.

The Cowboys host Montana State September 4, at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie.
