A Trooper with the Wyoming Highway Patrol is lucky to be alive after dodging out of the way of an out-of-control semi. WHP posted the video to their social media pages, saying the Trooper nearly got hit by a commercial semi-tractor and trailer recently.

WHP said the incident happened on I-80 near Rawlins when the driver of the semi could not maintain control and ran off the roadway, into the median. The Trooper looked up just in time to see the oncoming semi and dodge out of the way.

WHP shared the video to remind drivers to move over and slow down for emergency vehicles.
