WYDOT reminds pedestrians, cyclists that work continues on Flat Creek Bridge

Jackson — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has started work on the Flat Creek Bridge on West Broadway and would like to remind residents that the bridge work area and the pathway are closed to all pedestrian and cyclist traffic. The closure is for the safety of the pedestrians and cyclists, as well as work crews and the traveling public. WYDOT will notify the public when the area can be accessed again. During the work, WYDOT is asking pedestrians and cyclists to find an alternative route through the area.

The work is part of district-wide bridge rehabilitation project and includes repairs to the deck and abutments, as well as other miscellaneous work. The project was awarded to Cannon Builders, Inc. WYDOT would like to remind drivers to slow down in adverse weather conditions, be alert and cautious of roadside workers and obey all road closures.
