$1,000 reward offered following park vandalism in Star Valley Ranch

The Town of Star Valley Ranch Natural Resources Board is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the identification of those responsible for a spree of vandalism at Fox Run Park and the Crop Circles Community Garden.

According to the town, some of the vandalism occurred on or near October 17 when an ATV entered the park and “proceeded to joyride around the exercise lop of Fox Run Park, causing damage to the walking path.” Fox Run Park is a non-motorized park and has signage indicating no motorized vehicles.

In addition, on or around October 14, vandals entered the Crop Circles Community Garden and “destroyed still growing vegetable crops planted by community gardeners. Tomatoes were smashed and splattered, leeks and carrots uprooted and flung against the garden fence. Tomatoes were also thrown over into Canine Commons Dog Park.”

Also, around September 5, the Natural Resources Board says vandals damages three Exercise Loop signs in Fox Run Park by shattering plexiglass.

Anyone with information regarding the vandalism is asked to contact TSVR Special Municipal Officer, Jim Rodgers at (307) 880-2666.
