• Winner takes home $300
Star Valley Kids Got Talent is returning to the Ford Theatre this Saturday, March 1, at 7 p.m., featuring six finalists in grades 6-8. The winning finalist will be determined by audience vote and receive a $300 cash prize. Additional prizes will be offered to other finalists.
Kids in grades 6-8 from throughout the valley were invited to submit an audition recording online, and the top six candidates have been invited to perform live, receive feedback from panel judges and win prizes by audience vote.
“SV Kids has been such a fun program to put together,” said Jaclyn Lechner, Salt River Arts Representative. “These kids have so much talent and we are grateful for the opportunity to share what these kids can do!”
Finalists include Aly Richards, Hannah King, and Ella Reamsbottom, who will be singing. Clair Flud is preparing a Speed Painting demonstration and Tucker Jensen will share a ventriloquism act. Harrison Wagner has prepared a piano solo to share.
“These kids are working on their talent and get the opportunity to practice and perform on a stage, in front of a live audience,” said Lechner. “It’s a great way to continue to learn and develop their talents. Come support our incredibly talented kids in Star Valley! Come cheer them on as they share their talents with you.”
