• Nominations pending Senate confirmation
A number of local residents have been nominated by Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon to serve in various state offices, boards and commissions. The nominations were announced February 25 by the Governor’s office. Nominees are subject to confirmation by the Senate.
Lincoln County residents who were nominated by the Governor include Jason Nelson to the Business Council, David Julian to the Livestock Board, Fred Baldwin to the Medicine Board, Marlowe Scherbel to the Transportation Commission and Robert Choma reappointed to the Water Development Commission.
“It is with pleasure that I submit to the Senate my appointment for confirmation,” said Gov. Gordon in a letter to Senate President Bo Biteman. “Favorable consideration of these appointments to Wyoming’s boards and commissions and to agency director positions is much appreciated. We are delighted to present to you these names which represent some of the brightest and most dedicated in our state.”
