WHEATLAND (WNE) — Former Wheatland Middle School and Wheatland High School band director, Evan Whitt Bradley, 34, was booked into the Platte County Detention Center on Tuesday, March 11 on charges of sexual exploitation of children.

He had resigned from his position with Platte County School District. No. 1 at the end of the 2024 school term.
Most of the information related to his charges is redacted from public records to comply with Wyoming Statute, but Bradley is currently facing 19 felony charges of exploitation and sexual conduct with minor children – causing or enticing a child under his authority to produce child pornography (2 counts), possession of child pornography (9 counts), first degree sexual abuse of a minor under his authority (5 counts) and second degree sexual abuse of a minor under his authority (3 counts).
All of the charges are connected to alleged events ranging from July 2024 through February 2025.
Platte County Sheriff David Russell an investigation of this case is ongoing, with the possibility of further charges pending. No additional details can be released.
After his arrest, an initial bond hearing was held on March 12 to set Bradley’s bond at $500,000 cash only. Bradley’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 24 to determine if the case should be bound over to 8th Judicial District Court.
