According to literature promoting the event, Milleson plans to discuss how perimenopause affects women between ages 30 and 50 with hormonal and menstrual inconsistencies. A Q&A discussion and light refreshments will follow her presentation.
“We are excited to host a variety of providers in the valley who will present on health issues that affect women,” said Wendi Walton, Alpine Branch Librarian in an email to SVI Media. “It’s always great to have local experts willing to share their knowledge in an informal and approachable environment.”
The series may continue with additional offerings on the third Thursday of each month. Women’s Health will be the continued theme, with speakers from the local health practitioner community offering education and answering questions.
Admission is free, but seating is limited to about 30 individuals. There is no pre-registration, so come early to secure your seat. For additional information, feel free to contact the library directly by calling 307-654-7323.
