Punkins Coffee Shop, located in the heart of Alpine, has quickly become a cherished local favorite since its opening on January 3, 2022. Owned by Stacie Jones, the shop reflects her deep passion for the service industry, which spans decades.

“The opportunity to open a coffee shop came when my brother-in-law purchased the building,” Stacie shares. This moment enabled her to merge her extensive experience with her love for coffee, creating a welcoming space for both locals and visitors alike.

As Punkins approaches its fourth summer, Stacie looks back on the journey with optimism. “It’s been going great,” she says with a bright smile. “We appreciate our locals; they are keeping us afloat.” The support from the community has been vital to the shop’s success.

Punkins boasts a delightful menu featuring espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, coffee, sandwiches, burritos, and pastries, all of which have quickly become favorites among customers.

The shop operates Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 1 PM, catering to early risers, commuters, and anyone seeking a cozy spot to unwind. The warm atmosphere, combined with Stacie’s friendly demeanor, ensures that every visit feels special.

The name “Punkins” carries personal meaning for Stacie. It was a nickname her husband gave her in 2003, and it has since become a term of endearment among friends and customers. “He called me punkin and then everyone started calling me Punkin, and it’s stuck ever since,” she laughs, embodying the warmth that defines her shop.

At Punkins Coffee Shop, each cup of coffee serves as a bridge between community and connection. As Stacie continues to nurture this gathering place, she invites everyone to stop by and experience Punkins.
