The UW North Lincoln County 4-H Shooting Sports program held its annual County Shoot for air rifle and archery this past Saturday at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. Young participants showcased their skills in precision shooting and archery, demonstrating the dedication and discipline fostered through the 4-H program. There were 18 members who participated in the archery competition, and 16 members who participated in air rifle.
The event featured competitors from the north part of the county, each vying for top honors in their respective categories. Families, friends, and community members gathered to support the youth as they put their training to the test in a safe and structured environment.
“The County Shoot is a great opportunity for our 4-H members to apply what they’ve learned throughout the year,” said Shar Perry, the 4-H Educator. “It’s not just about competition—it’s about responsibility, sportsmanship, and personal growth.”
