A 2.4 magnitude earthquake has been reported near Star Valley by the U.S. Geological Service.
The trembler occurred at roughly 10:57 p.m. on Friday, January 31 in the Caribou Range across the Idaho border, a little over 4 miles west of Thayne. The USGS reports the quake had a depth of approximately three miles.
