Day in the Life photo Contest celebrates everyday moments in Star Valley

Life in Star Valley is full of simple moments that speak volumes—whether it’s kids cooling off with a popsicle after the parade, farmers baling hay under a golden sky, or neighbors gathering for a backyard BBQ. These are the moments that the “Day in the Life” photo contest is all about.
Hosted by SVI Media, this community-driven contest invites locals of all ages to capture and share moments from their life this weekend. From July 4 through July 6, residents can capture and submit up to ten photos that best represents what a typical day in Star Valley looks like—from quiet mornings to rowdy rodeos.

Here are some ideas: Start with what you love about life here. Maybe it’s your dog riding in the back of the truck on the way to the mountains, or your grandpa’s hands fixing a fence. Maybe it’s a peaceful walk along the river or the chaos of Independence Day events.
We’re looking for photos that feel real—moments that make someone say, ‘That’s what it’s like to live here”.
Entries have a shot at winning fun prizes including Lagoon Passes, a Brave Cadette Coupon, and Red Baron gift certificates—perfect for summer adventures and family nights out.
