All summers for the Star Valley Search and Rescue are busy. But 2025 so far has been among one of the busiest. Multiple water rescues and recoveries, car accidents, even assisting in a short manhunt, there’s been more than enough to keep them busy. The primary fundraiser for the search and rescue is the annual Ranch Rodeo and this year’s stands were as full as they get. Not only were the main grandstands completely full, all of the additional uncovered stands surrounding the main arena were full and there were even a significant amount of standing spectators who enjoyed the show which went on for more than three hours and capped off a Fourth of July complete with fireworks.
This year, the Crystal Springs Cattle team took top honors with 39 points. Flat Creek Cattle was second with 37 and the Salt Crew Ranch was third with 35. Scroll down for results below the photo gallery
