GoFundMe established for family of Wrenlie White

A GoFundMe fundraiser has been established for the family of a former Star Valley man after a serious diagnosis for his 7-month old daughter.

Wrenlie Rose, daughter of Denton and Kelsie White, was recently rushed to the emergency room after becoming severely dehydrated and unusually lethargic.

“Doctors discovered that the soft spot on Wrenlie’s head was becoming hard, a sign that her brain was under dangerous pressure,” said Carlee White, organizer of the fundraiser, on the GoFundMe. “After urgent testing, she was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus — a condition where fluid builds up around the brain — caused by an unidentified mass deep in the middle of her brain.”

Wrenlie is now undergoing a series of brain surgeries at Primary Children’s Medical Center to “relieve the pressure, address the unknown mass, and give her the best chance at recovery.”

Donations received will go towards medical and living expenses for the family. Donations can be made by clicking here or visiting GoFundMe.com and searching for “Rootin’ For Wrenlie.”
