Golfers from around the region were back in action in Lander on Monday and Tuesday for the Terry Berg Invite.
On the boys side, Kemmerer’s Trevan Benson finished second with a score of 149, just two strokes behind Lander’s William Oland who won the tournament. Star Valley’s top finish came from junior Daltyn DeCora who shot a 152 to finish fifth overall. The host Tigers won the tournament with a team total of 613. Star Valley placed second with a team effort of 657.
Buffalo’s Addison Bettinger won the girls side with a score of 158. The Cody Fillies easily took the girls team score by 45 strokes in front of Buffalo. Star Valley finished 7th.
Kemmerer is hosting a JV tournament Wednesday at Fossil Island Golf Course. The SVHS squads will be in Rock Springs next week on August 28-29.
