Bryan & Jennie Drollinger, a local couple named America’s Favorite Couple, stepped into the SVI Radio studio to promote an upcoming fundraiser event for the Thayne Food Bank. Jennie’s heart is close to supporting food banks as she shared a little about her past experience of single parenthood and the importance of having somewhere to go in order to put food on the table for her children. “I just think about all those single moms out there trying to just make it and make ends meet.”

After learning more about food banks nation-wide in their journey of being named America’s Favorite Couple, the Drollengers wanted to help locally and are happy to help spread the word for the “Nacho Mama’s Bingo” event, hosted by the Cedar Creek Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The community is encouraged to come out, enjoy an evening of fun, and support a meaningful cause. Each donation brought to the event will help stock the shelves of the Thayne Food Bank and provide relief for local families in need. The night is hoped to not only raise donations, but also strengthen connections among neighbors and remind everyone of the power of giving close to home.
