The following is a press release from the Kemmerer/Diamondville Joint Powers Board

The Kemmerer-Diamondville Joint Powers Board would like to inform residents that water service to Nations Avenue, Troy Court, and Del Rio (from 9th West down) will be shut off beginning at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, September, 3rd 2025, and will remain off until the following day.

This temporary service interruption is necessary to allow contractors to disconnect your home from the current water system and connect it to a temporary water line. This is part of the ongoing installation of a new 16-inch water transmission line.

What You Need to Do:

Fill water containers and/or bathtubs the night before to have water available for basic needs, including flushing toilets.

A water truck will be stationed in Nations Court to provide water for residents who need to fill buckets or containers.

The Joint Powers Board Utility Crew will be delivering cases of bottled water to residents who would like them.

Nation’s residents may use the showers at the Kemmerer Rec Center during this time.
