The Roast & Toast Gala: A Night of Laughter, Celebration, and Community Impact

The Fossil Basin Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its most entertaining event yet: The Roast & Toast Gala, set to take place on Saturday, September 6, at the South Lincoln Event Center. This exciting evening will begin at 5:00 PM and promises a blend of laughter, camaraderie, and community spirit. The location is only announced to those who purchase a ticket.

Guests can look forward to a delicious catered dinner paired with refreshing drinks, all while celebrating the remarkable achievements that make Kemmerer and Dimondville’s community truly special. The gala will feature awards recognizing outstanding chamber members and community contributors, highlighting the dedication and passion of local individuals.

Adding to the evening’s entertainment, renowned comedian Brent Reed will take the stage for a live performance that is sure to keep attendees in stitches. For those who dare, a unique opportunity awaits: the chance to be humorously roasted on stage by Reed, with prior consent, of course. Nominations for this playful honor will open soon, allowing individuals to suggest their boss, best friend, or even themselves for a lighthearted roast.

Jessica Lozier from the Chamber expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “It is a really, really fun night. I think everyone who came last year would say it was a great time. We’re going to continue to sell tickets until next Wednesday, so we still have a few seats left—go buy your tickets and come have a nice dinner!”

All proceeds from The Roast & Toast Gala will support the Fossil Basin Chamber’s vital revitalization efforts, business development programs, and community events aimed at fostering a brighter future for Kemmerer and Diamondville. “Most of the money goes to improve downtown,” Jessica noted. “We’d like to continue [to update the] corridor down through Diamondville.’

Tickets for the gala are now on sale, with options available for table sponsorship. Attendees can choose their dinner selections and submit guest information during checkout. Additionally, those wishing to contribute can donate items for the silent and live auctions or make flat donations, all in one convenient place. “The silent auction has tons of stuff from businesses around here,” Jessica added. “This year, there are eight guns that will be raffled off.”

Guests are encouraged to wear their finest, upscale Western attire for this special occasion. With limited seating available, don’t miss your chance to be part of this memorable evening!
