Missy Harris, Lincoln County Library System

The Lincoln County Library System is proud to highlight several meaningful partnerships and community contributions that continue to enrich our collections and enhance services for patrons across our libraries.

We are especially excited to announce a new partnership with the Jackson Hole History Museum. Through this collaboration, we are working to expand access to regional history and cultural resources, creating new opportunities for our communities to engage with the rich heritage of western Wyoming.  As part of this partnership, the Jackson Hole History Museum pass admits up to four individuals free of charge, making it easier for families and small groups to experience and learn from the region’s history together.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Astoria Hot Springs Park for continuing to offer the Lincoln County Library System five passes per week through the end of 2026. Through this generous partnership—and support from their Access Fund—library patrons can enjoy complimentary access to Astoria’s Hot Springs. Our community makes great use of this opportunity: 213 passes were used in 2025, following an additional 175 passes used in 2024—a wonderful reminder of how much our community values outdoor recreation and wellness opportunities.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Kemmerer Rotary Club and the Thayne Rotary Club for their generous contributions to our collections. Their support has allowed us to purchase new books and materials for both the Kemmerer and Thayne libraries, ensuring that our patrons have access to a wide variety of current, relevant, and engaging resources. Community organizations like Rotary play a vital role in helping libraries remain vibrant and responsive to local needs.

In addition, we would like to thank the Frontier Area Park and Recreation District for their continued support of recreation-based books and magazines at the Lincoln County Library in Kemmerer. Their ongoing contributions help us provide materials that promote healthy, active lifestyles and encourage residents of all ages to explore outdoor recreation opportunities available in our region.

These partnerships and contributions reflect the strength and generosity of our community. Together, we are able to provide valuable resources, create meaningful connections, and support lifelong learning for all who walk through our doors.
