Independent Notes: I’ll keep doing it as long as the good Lord, my wife and couple of votes allow!

I was amazed at the number of people in attendance. I made an early morning run to Casper Monday for the Wyoming Business Alliance Policy and Prosperty Summit.
It was one of those over-and-back-in-a-day trips, but important in a trip like this gives me the opportunity to hear from Wyoming businesses and agencies about their concerns.
It was a packed house as we all moved from table to table in small groups and met key people to Wyoming’s business and agencies in a short amount of time.
At those tables, representatives from ag, oil and gas, mining, tourism, finance, education technology, manufacturing and much more.
At the same time I shook hands with many from throughout Wyoming seeking public office in this next election.
In person, face-to-face conversations — that’s the way I’ve worn out countless vehicles in this job, simply showing up!
As of right now, I’m two transmissions down with my current vehicle collection.
Is it worth it? Absolutely! It’s about making Wyoming work and moving the state forward. Just this week I picked up on an ag idea. I’ll try to move forward.
I plan to keep doing it as along as the good Lord, my wife and a couple of votes allow!
