The Lincoln Count Sheriff’s Office confirmed that they assisted multiple federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in an investigation during the morning hours of Tuesday, July 21.

Sheriff Shane Johnson said the operation included north Lincoln County along with simultaneous operations in multiple counties and states, with the lead federal agency being the DEA.

“To protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation, no further information will be released from this office at this time,” stated Sheriff Johnson.
