The Lincoln County Fair Board has announced that country singer Whitney Lusk will be the opening act for Ian Munsick this Friday night on the opening day of the fair. Lusk was born and raised in Spanish Fork, Utah and has “built a reputation for her powerhouse vocals, high-energy performances, and authentic country sound,” reads a statement made by the fairboard.
Lusk is not new to opening for the biggest names in country music, having shared the stage with Ella Langley, Rodney Atkins, Josh Turner, Russell Dickerson, Sawyer Brown, Granger Smith and Maddie & Tae. Her music style resembles that of well-known female artists including Martina McBride and Miranda Lambert, emanating a strong 90’s country feel.
Lusk released an album in 2025 titled “Gamblin’ With My Heart.” Her music can be found on YouTube, Spotify and Apple. Additional details can be found on her website, WhitneyLuskMusic.com.
Following Lusk’s performance, Wyoming’s own Ian Munsick will take the stage. He currently has a song trending in country music’s Top 40 titled “Love Is Blind.” Munsick is also in the process of releasing a new album titled “The Mountain Goat.”
The concert will take place this Friday night in the Main Arena at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Afton. Gates open at 6:00 with the Lusk taking the stage at 7:00 followed by Munsick. While tickets have been selling fast, a limited number are still available at LincolnCountyFair.info.
