The Town of Star Valley Ranch passed one ordinance establishing set fees under the town’s business regulations for the sale of liquor and malt beverages, but chose to delay a decision on an ordinance addressing fencing regulations in the community.
The traditional fee of $1,500 was eliminated as part of the new ordinance, allowing the fee to be based on the size and type of event. Ordinance 2026-09 Business Regulation and Alcoholic Beverages passed on third reading.
Ordnance 2026-06, Land Usage Zoning remains undecided on second reading. The ordinance addresses the location of fencing on private property and how it is coordinated with golf course boundaries in the community. The proposed change was tabled for continued review and discussion.
Krista Bodily was honored with the Town of Star Valley Ranch September “Ride for the Brand” award. She was acknowledged for her attention to package delivery assistance to residents during a recent disruption in postal services.
New water meter installation is nearly complete in the town with town administrator Trevor Aitken noting that the final 10 percent would be completed before the winter season.
The Star Valley Ranch Town Master Plan will be posted on the town website before October.
