The following is a candidacy announcement from Kenneth D. Roberts of Kemmerer

Kemmerer, WY – Kenneth D Roberts has officially announced his candidacy for Wyoming House District 18 as a Republican. My campaign is centered around “Wyoming First – Always.” I believe in limited government, protecting our constitutional rights, public safety, fiscal responsibility and preserving Wyoming outdoor heritage. Ken said voters are looking for leadership that focuses on solving problems and strengthening families, schools, hospitals, businesses, and industry. Conservative government should solve problems, protect local communities, and respect practical leadership. I am concerned that the Wyoming Freedom Caucus has focused more on ideological purity and political conflict than governing effectively for everyday Wyoming families.

Ken served 32 years in the Wyoming court system as Clerk of District Court, where he worked to uphold the integrity of the Judicial system and ensured accountability and fairness under the law. He currently serves on the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission being president from 2022-2023. Prior, Ken served 8 years on the Wyoming Board of Parole, the last 2 years being Chairman. He also served on the State Committee for the Lincoln Bicentennial. Throughout his career he has built a strong reputation with conservative leadership and working with everyone.

Ken and his wife Corey have deep roots in Wyoming and remain actively involved in their community. They have 2 children and 5 grandkids.
