Hillcrest enters the regular-season finale with a perfect record after putting together one of the most impressive campaigns in eastern Idaho. The Knights are coming off a dominant 48–6 victory over Skyline and have also earned impressive wins over Thunder Ridge, Bonneville, Shelley and Idaho Falls.
The Knights have been especially impressive offensively, scoring 40 or more points in four of their eight victories, while their defense has continued to make big plays throughout the season.
Blackfoot returns home looking to finish the regular season strong after a tough 41–34 loss to Pocatello last week. The Broncos have shown plenty of offensive firepower, including a 55–38 victory over Skyline and a 32–21 win over Idaho Falls.
There’s also plenty of recent history between these programs. Hillcrest defeated Blackfoot 41–21 last season, giving the Broncos an opportunity to return the favor in front of their home crowd.
With Hillcrest looking to complete an undefeated regular season and Blackfoot hoping to make a statement heading into the playoffs, Friday night promises an exciting battle between two familiar eastern Idaho rivals.
