It’s win or go home Friday night as the Jackson Broncs (7–2) travel to Lander to take on the Lander Valley Tigers (4–4) in the quarterfinal round of the 2026 Wyoming 3A State Football Playoffs. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Jackson Hole enters the postseason after an impressive seven-win regular season. Led by quarterback Ace Emery and receiver Marco Rosales, the Broncs have featured an explosive offense throughout the year and will look to make a deep playoff run.
Lander Valley enters the playoffs with momentum after a dominant 39–0 shutout of Worland in its regular-season finale. The Tigers’ offense rolled up more than 400 yards in the victory, while their defense came away with four interceptions.
These two teams are no strangers to each other. Jackson defeated Lander Valley 20–14 back on September 4, and now the Tigers get an opportunity for revenge on their home field with much more at stake.
With the season on the line and a trip to the Wyoming 3A State Semifinals awaiting the winner, Friday’s rematch promises to be an exciting postseason battle!
