
Fred Brog, a longtime member of the Lower Valley Energy Board of Directors, has retained his seat on the board following the recent elections held by the co-op. During its annual meeting, LVE announced that Brog won the election for District 2 over challenger Devin Simpson. Brog received a total of 327 votes compared to Simpson’s 142.
District 2 includes portions of northern Star Valley on the west side of Highway 89. Current Board Member Bob McLaurin ran unopposed for the District 5 seat in Teton County.
Lower Valley Energy entered all those who voted in District 2 into a drawing for one of three $100 energy credits. Winners include Frank Schofield, Madlyn Bloxham and Colt Rich.
