“We have a big celebration” Michelle Pollard said of tonight’s celebration in Kemmerer to honor South Lincoln Hospital District’s 65th Anniversary. The event will be held in the Archie Neil Park from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9.

“Back in 1960, voters approved the South Lincoln Medical District to help sustain the hospital through tax support,” she told SVIkemmer.com. “We’re all excited to celebrate it. We’re going to have a barbeque. The community is welcome.”

Pollard continued, “We want to celebrate all of our accomplishments, what we currently offer today, all of our great employees and staff and we really want to celebrate our patients.”

Pollard acknowledge the community support in her comments with SVI. “This community and the patients in this community make this hospital what it is and our employees and staff.”

She concluded, “We want to talk about the 65 years and we hope that we have 65 more!”
