Afton’s Berean Bible Fellowship is hosting a Star Valley Braves Football Watch Party on Friday, October 10 at 5 p.m. as the Braves take on the Cody Broncs. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. at 439 South Washington in downtown Afton. All are invited.
“Not everyone can make the trip to Cody with work schedules and other commitments,” said Pastor Doug Hollen, who leads the Berean Bible congregation. “Cody is a long way to drive, but downtown isn’t so far, so come join us at the watch party for some snacks and fun.”
Admission is free, and snacks are provided in the church reception area that can seat 100 people. Folks are encouraged to bring their friends and family to enjoy the game on a six by 10-foot screen in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. Board games will also be available for guests who need a change of pace.
Though an RSVP is not required, Hollen encouraged folks to RSVP by texting the church number at 307-887-8900.
“This game should prove to be a nail biter between these rival teams with a pretty good battle,” Hollen said. “It’s an opportunity to cheer the boys on with your friends and family. Come hang out for some fun, food, fellowship and football!”
